Mooloolaba is a popular stop off point for boats travelling to and from the Whitsundays and North Queensland. Full services, convenient marinas and its location between Brisbane and Fraser Island make it an attractive "pitt stop". Deep keel yachts are warned about shifting sand at the entrance to the river, get the latest information before entering.
