Last Monday I went down to check on Legless. As I was climbing through the pushpit fence I saw some movement behind the starboard wheel. There on the floor with its head up behind the instrument panel was a snake about 1m long. I went to get something with which to catch it but when I returned It had disappeared which left me not knowing whether it was in the yacht or not. A bit disconcerting! I told Jackie at the club about it and on Thursday I received a telephone call from the club saying they had caught it.
Legless is an apt name after all.
