Where are they in July?

Breakaway

Breakaway is heading North for the rest of the winter. First stop Mackay. Te Moana is going along in a virtual sense.

Will they get to MacKay before Bounty Child's parts arrive?

Diomedea is still having lots of fun in the Pacific

Alfie is still enveloped in a cloud of fibreglass dust, but is getting good press.

Evening Star is exploring Magnetic North... or was it Magnetic Island?

And you know who is you know where.

And if you know of someone else who is somewhere else, be sure to let us know by leaving a comment or by dropping me (Marius) a line.

Terence & Lilia Smith on Tezelia are planning to follow Breakaway and Teeza and any other club boats that are cruising north this winter.

We are planning on leaving Saturday 19th July very early and day sailing to Mooloolaba where we will visit family for a few days then we will continue our day sailing journey north.

Our aim is to amble along as far as Lizard Island and return to Newport around 20th November. We should however be in Sydney end of September for a week or so and will try to get to October first Friday.

Our phone numbers are 0417 244254 and 0408 110407 and email propterry2@bigpond.com.

Fellow club members doing the north cruise may wish to contact me their movements so that we can cross paths along the way and say hello.

Regards to All
Terence Smith

Richard, Jayatma, Byron & Asha Rowe and friends on Moksha have been cruising the Queensland central Islands for the last month Currently we are anchored off Shaw Island in Queensland (in a 40 knot blow) and will be making their way back to Pittwater over the next 5 weeks.

We should cross Tezelia's path sometime in mid August I expect around Fraser Island.

Moksha left Pittwater on 17th June. On return to Pittwater Moksha will be taking up a berth at the end of G arm. Moksha is the orange Hanse 540 that has been berthed at Bayview over the last year.

A web site of the journey can be seen at

We can be contacted on 0439 417 901 or rr27@bigpond.com
