It has been great to see some RPAYC members assist Kevin in practical ways to help restore Alfie. Here is a way for all of us to use our hands, even those who can't assist in the project in a practical way:
Let's put those hands in our pockets to help defray the cash expenses of restoring the engine and having the boat shipped over to the Louisiades.
Kevin needs around $20,000 to finish. That's not a lot of money amongst us all. A raffle is the traditional Australian way to contribute.
This beautiful clock (displayed in the case at Halyards') is the first prize in our raffle which will be drawn on First Friday in October. At just $5 per ticket or $50 for a book of them, we can all contribute in a hands-on way.
Tickets are available from RPAYC Reception and at First Friday in September.
